CanSkate
CanSkate is geared for skaters ages 4 and up. This program builds on the fundamental movements of skating through an interactive group lesson format. Skaters will progress at their own pace, through 6 stages of each Agility, Balance, and Control. The CanSkate program will prepare skaters with a specific skillset for recreational, hockey, ringette and/or figure skating.
CanPowerSkate
CanPowerSkate is an action-packed, high energy instructional power skating program geared to hockey and ringette skaters that focuses on balance, power, agility, speed and endurance. Full equipment including a stick is needed. This is not a learn-to-skate program.
Junior Academy
Our Jr. Academy Program is the bridge between the CanSkate and the StarSkate programs, where skaters learn figure skating skills coached in a group setting. The program includes teaching the basic mechanics of jumping & spinning, quality development of stroking technique, the learning of basic field moves & artistic figures. Within this program is also an off-ice component that teaches basic body development as it relates to figure skating, dry land jumping, flexibility & strength.
Star/Competitive Skate
STARSkate is the next step after Junior Academy, offering skaters of all ages the opportunity to further develop their fundamental figure skating skills in ice dance, skating skills, free skate, and interpretive skating. Unique to Canada, this program provides both group and private lessons taught in a progressive and sequential manner.
